For you tech guru's.

Last night, at around the same time (2 am) i randomly got a huge ping. I reset my router and it seemed to fix it for a half hour or so till I went to bed. Today, the same thing happened, i reset my router and i have the same fucking terrible ping. I'm not downloading anything, nor do i have any different habits than any other day. Thanks in advance.

contact your ISP and complain. Threaten to switch ISPs.

Ping other random sites (yahoo, google) and see if you are getting high pings there too. If so, it's probably an ISP problem.

Ping your router also to make sure it's not anything local

My ISP did this Thursday night. They were working on their trunk line from what I was told (pry a lie, bad switches imo)
