No, because in america the word masseuse and massuer mean that we do more than massage and its sexual.
Garbage man means he picks up garbage and sanitation engineer I would persume is a fancey name for garbage man. Kind of like my last job soil tech it just spices your name up a bit and makes you feel more professional. I'm not 100% sure if there is much schooling involved in throwing away trash, but if they had to go to school and was giving the name "engineer" i would respectively call them by the name they earned.
in the end it is what it is and jokes will be made. I don't really mind the jokes seeing as the world would be boring without them, but a little respect isn't asking too much.
