If you are having a very slow download of the patch, I am providing you a link to my web site where you can download it quickly:

Unzip the file into your "c:\program files\World of Warcraft\Patch" directory. It should create a sub directory. Then just run WoW and it should detect the patch and install it.

its back up, but stuck at retrieving.

ahh...how i missed the good old, "blah to blah scheduled maintainence, errr, we need 5 more hours, but still, your server isn't actually going to let you log on, so we'll need to do rolling restarts, but that won't actually fix anything" days. :)
